DROPPER
Dropper is a music listening software that builds a listening community that encourages users to share what they are listening to associated with geographic locations. Users can visualize their own music journey on a map, while exploring new places with music other people share. This user interface design project was made possible with Adobe XD.
DESIGN CHALLENGE
Music has always been a carrier of culture that can be timeless and transcendental, and the music listening
experience is no longer limited to crowded concerts or stationarily through hi-fi systems. Oftentimes people
are on the move when they listen to music, on their daily commute, on road trips and exploring around the
world. These individual memories associated with music and places can be collective too. What are ways we can
better preserve these precious moments in life and revisit these moments through listening?
Thus I propose Dropper, a location-based music app, is to combine these two concepts of geolocation and music
together, and create new experiences.

PROTOTYPE
Using Adobe XD, I completed an interactive prototype that showcases basic funcationalities for Dropper, where users are able to login with their music app or social media accounts, drop and lift music of their choice based on their current locations.
